Artist's Comments

This image is a series of shots taken on a Saturday photo shoot that took about 5 hours. I learned a few things regarding lights. For example I had my SB800 light, yet the light was too harsh on the subject, and noticed one of the subjects eating a back of chips before we began. An idea came to me, I asked her for another bag just like it. (Sun Chips). One end was completely open and the other end I opened just enough to sneak in my flash and tape it to the bag. The outcome was fascinating to me, considering how much the light was dispersed on the subject. That was my only source of lighting. The two subjects are roommates who were nice enough to help me with this project. I think this photo shoot turned out well considering my inexperience with shooting photographs of females. The lens that was used the most was standard lens that comes with a Nikon D70. Sorry the descriptions are the same in each shot, but I’m not good at writing them. Let me know what you think of the picture. :) My Fav

Well, I've only done a few models, but this is very interesting. The idea, the lighting, and especially the eyes ! Good work, mate.

this is really great...love it.... but it's that damn composition rule here also.... if you'd watch out for it your shots woule be really awesome.....

and if you get along with the model it's not a problem shoting females.... photographs i mean :)
